Artist Joseph Solman

American expressionist Joseph Solman was a star of the New York Art scene in the early 20th century. The Abstraction movement - an aesthetic he distrusted - allowed his friends to become the super-elites of American Art, while he continued to explore light, color, form, and space as the material world offered them.
