My most recent video production: religious liberty in Gloucester.

18th century Gloucester has a religious liberty story that just may have impacted the U.S. Constitution. George Washington and John Adams are important players, but the star is Rev. John Murray, a gentle minister uninterested in attention beyond the service he owed to God. His quiet insistence on preaching, in the face of the established state church, fueled a first battle for religious liberty in this country. In 15 minutes, here is that story, presented recently at the Gloucester Meetinghouse, the church built to accomodate the hundreds who became followers of this minister’s message of love. Stay for the unsolved mystery!

I created this video with the Gloucester Meetinghouse Foundation and the generosity of its members.
